Jurong Bird Park

Penguins, Parrots and Ostriches!

Kourtney and I spent today at Jurong Bird Park. It is basically a zoo but with only really cool birds. We watched a birds of paradise show, got bird food to feed Lories, and watched the penguins for so long. The park itself is HUGE, with a monorail that takes you to different areas. There are several aviaries where you can walk into the area with the birds, including 'Africa' which has the largest man-made waterfall in the world. It is over 30m (about 100ft) tall!

The penguins were so cute, like all penguins are, but we felt really bad for them in Singapore heat. Of course their area was air conditioned, but there was only a tiny pile of snow for them to share! We were laughing because the pile was so pitiful looking, Kourtney is from Ontario so she understands snow the same way I do. We were not impressed.
